PetYap ("we", "us") is operated by Bishop Co Tech. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the PetYap mobile app and this website.
If you create an account, we store your email, display name, and a hashed password on our servers so you can sign in.
When you translate a sound, the app sends text and metadata (animal type, sound type, style, context, optional duration) to our servers. Audio files and pet images are not uploaded.
If you rate a translation or submit corrections, we may store feedback linked to a translation ID to improve the product.
If you choose to support PetYap in the future, payment processing will be handled by the app store or payment provider. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
PetYap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
